Divyasenaposseses over 20 years of experience as a teacher in the field of Bharatanatyam and is the founder Director of "Divyanjali" school of classical dance. Initially she started Divyanjali with a limited number of students, but now her school at CIT Nagar, has nearly 100 students. This growth was possible only because of her utmost sincerity & commitment towards the art. Divyanjali, which initially functioned at a small place for a period of 5 years, later transformed into a spacious dancing hall, inaugurated by the renowned artists 'Padma Shri' Smt. ChitraVisweswaran& Smt. NandiniRamani in the year 2004. Since its inception in 1994, the school has come a long way in producing dancers of remarkable talent and has earned for itself a place among the best dance schools for training in Bharatanatyam .The well formulated syllabus that the school follows in imparting training, both in the theoretical and practical aspects of dance, has been carefully drafted by Divyasena, keeping in mind the requirements and abilities of students of various age groups. Besides practical training and dance theory,Laya, the rhythmical aspect of dance, receives special focus. Special demonstrations on Tala Chakra and Laya are favorites among here students.

Divyasena, a versatile and accomplished artist was initiated into Bharatanatyam at the tender age of seven. Having trained in the preliminaries of Bharatanatyam with Smt. Saroja Rani, she made her stage debut with her Arangetram in 1985 in the presence of eminent artists. Later she continued her rigorous training under 'Yuva Kala Bharathi' Sri. J Suryanarayana Murthy, with great fervor and sincerity. While her meticulous training in abhinaya happened under 'Padma Bhushan' Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan, her initiation into Kuchipudiensued at the Kuchipudi Arts Academy, which was helmed by none other than the 'late'legendary Guru 'Padma Bhushan' Dr. VempatiChinna Satyam. SmtDivyasena has undergone her initial years of training in Kuchipudi under Sri. Udayakanth and Smt. Renuka. Her advanced training in Kuchipudi is now under the able tutelage of Sri. Kishore Mosalikanti, an accomplished dancer and choreographer with profound knowledge and understanding of the subtlest nuances of the kuchipudi repertoire. Her erudition in the two legendary Indian classical dance forms, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, stands testimony to the numerous spread of students in her school. Smt. Divyasena considers Smt. NandiniRamani, 'Padma Shri' Smt, ChitraVisweswaran, 'Padma Bhushan' Prof. C V Chandrasekhar, 'Padma Bhushan' Sri. V P Dhananjayan& Smt. ShantaDhananjayan and 'Kalaimamani' Sri. M V Narasimhachari as her role models and takes their suggestions to develop her skills. She has also learnt the art of wielding cymbals, the Nattuvangam, from Sri.BPHaribabu. This makes her an adept performer and all-rounder in the field of fine arts, music and dance.
