Saina Nehwal once said, “I want to be the best. It’s not about ranking, it’s about being consistent”. This saying has a very special meaning to it. Most of us dream about being the best but very often we fail to realize why we want to do it in the first place. Winning does not necessarily imply being the first. It’s about how better of a person we’ve become than yesterday. We should always be one step ahead, stronger, healthier and healthier than our previous self. Human beings find these kinds of betterment in different fields. Sports is one such activity that any person at any given day can count on. It gives us the urge to do more and do better. Badminton is one such sport that is practiced on a vast level. While many people practice sport to top it, some people do it for fun. No matter why they do or how they do, they need a platform to do it. They need a push which cannot be given by everybody at the same level.
Below mentioned are some of the top-rated academies in Badminton that can be a good kick-start with a remarkable future.
The academy was founded by All England Open Badminton Champion, Pullela Gopichand. He was awarded 5 acres of land by the government of Andhra Pradesh. Pullela was struggling with few injuries at that time which did not count for his playing days. Hence, Gopichand decided to start a training center for Badminton with world-class facilities. The center was constructed with 8 courts, a swimming pool, a weight training room, and a cafeteria. Some of the notable players of India such as P.V.Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Srikanth Kidambi and many more were trained in this academy. The students have won 2 Olympic medals, 4 World Championship medals which adds up to the remarkable success of the institution.
